Comp Highlight - Zerode Katipo

For only £12 you can win this superb Zerode Katipo complete bike with Pinion gearbox and Gates Carbon Drive: worth over £6000!

I bought this bike for Will Rowlands to test while he was on a once-in-a-lifetime trip to New Zealand. Will has been racing downhill since the early 2000s and is currently one of the fastest UK enduro racers in the Master's category.

Now, the used test bike is up for grabs to go to a new home with its lucky winner. The bike is used, but is in excellent condition and has been serviced and rebuilt by a professional mechanic and is ready to ride! The bike is the standard Deluxe build from Zerode with the Radic Kaha brake upgrade and Maxxis DH tyres.

I haven’t ridden this exact bike myself, though I’m a big fan of the nearly zero maintenance Pinion (I’m offering a Smartshift upgrade option to the winner) and Gates Carbon Drive system which also gives the bike great weight distribution and light suspension action.

The geometry looks solid on paper and I can vouch for the details and finish quality from seeing these around and getting feedback from followers.
