Radon Render 10.0 Review

Here’s a collection of all the Radon Render review content. This was the first bike I reviewed for AstonMTB, it started life out as pretty average, but, with some care and attention (and £££) it became a damn good eMTB. This inspired me to #buildbikebetter and to try and push to find solutions for any problems a bike might have to eventually get better products to the consumers.

This tuned-up weapon was eventually given away in a competition to Etienne in France, he was not to far away from me so I drove over there and hand-delivered his prize.

Radomn Render Electric Mountain Bike

You might think I am being too negative, but with the general positivity of reviews online, we need to remember to be critical and analytical of products that cost €6000: a mountain bike will be one of the most expensive things that people will buy in their lives after a house or car, well, most MTB'rs spend more on their bikes than cars!

I’ve finally launched my first review video: if you’re expecting a perfectly polished video, beautiful imagery, great sound quality and positive hyperbole, you are not going to find that here!

The Radon is finally pretty bloody good.

Took a while, about a grand, a few degrees, lots of Sugru and a full suspension rebuild.

Turns out the main issue was half a kg of grease in the air assembly, but you can’t really complain about mis-assembly on a fork that only costs €1.5k or so
🧐

A lot of work and £££ and we finally have a bike that I’m happy with:

Tyre changes, geometry adjustment, sound proofing and fixing more things that weren’t done properly in the first place including the incorrectly mounted (and rattlling) battery and the Fox fork full of grease that never worked properly from day 1.

Average at best has become pretty damn good!
